About The Role

The Agentic SOC QC Lead is responsible for leading the delivery of an independent Quality Control (QC) function that validates Security Operations Center (SOC) investigation outcomes across both traditional analyst-driven and AI-enabled security operations. This role ensures that investigations, alert dispositions, escalation decisions, and response outcomes are accurate, consistent, and aligned with defined risk thresholds, customer requirements, and operational procedures.
The QC Lead provides governance, oversight, and continuous improvement across SOC operations through structured case reviews, quality assessments, trend analysis, and validation activities. As agentic SOC capabilities are introduced and expanded, the role also provides independent validation of AI-generated investigations and automated decision-making outcomes.

QC Service Leadership & Delivery
  • Lead execution of SOC Quality Control (QC) services across assigned clients and environments, including traditional analyst-driven investigations and AI-enabled security operations.
  • Oversee independent validation of investigation outcomes, alert dispositions, escalation decisions, and response activities across both analyst-driven and automated workflows.
  • Ensure QC activities focus on validation of outcomes and remain independent from SOC operational execution.
  • Provide leadership and direction for QC delivery teams and service governance activities.
Quality Assurance & Risk Validation
  • Conduct quality reviews of SOC investigations to assess accuracy, consistency, completeness, adherence to documented procedures, and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Validate outcomes against defined risk tolerances, severity classifications, and escalation criteria.
  • Identify false negatives, missed detections, process gaps, and incorrect classifications through structured reviews.
  • Ensure QC assessments are evidence-based and aligned with documented SOC procedures.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor investigation quality, analyst performance trends, process adherence, AI performance, behavioral drift, and consistency over time.
  • Analyze findings to identify patterns, systemic issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement through structured feedback loops and recommendations.
  • Deliver trend analysis and reporting to internal and customer stakeholders.

Who You Are

  • Strong experience leading or overseeing SOC operations, investigation quality reviews, incident analysis, alert triage, or operational governance functions.
  • Bachelor's degree, or greater, in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in US with no visa sponsorship reuired now or in the future
  • Deep understanding of SOC processes, investigation methodologies, severity classification, and escalation workflows.
  • Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and security analytics platforms.
  • Experience in SOC quality control, quality assurance, audit, validation, governance, or operational excellence functions within cybersecurity environments.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC certifications (e.g., GCIA, GCIH), cloud security certifications, or equivalent security, audit, governance, risk management, or operational excellence credentials preferred.
Role Positioning
  • Does not perform security monitoring or incident response activities.
  • Focus is on independent validation of SOC outcomes across traditional and AI-enabled security operations.
  • Acts as a governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement function ensuring SOC investigations and automated outcomes deliver trusted, defensible results.
  • Enables organizations to scale automation while maintaining control, visibility, and accountability.

Work Environment

  • If you are within 25 miles of a DXC office, will be expected to work hybrid mode twice a week
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $84,400 - $156,800.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
