Job description

Campos Fabrication is growing and we are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team in Amherst, NH. The Quality Control Manager (QC Manager) is responsible for overseeing and leading all quality assurance and quality control activities within Campos Fabrication. This role ensures that the fabrication and production processes meet regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures across all fabrication shop operations (Currently Denver and Amherst).
  • Conduct audits and inspections of production processes across all fabrication shop operations (Currently Denver and Amherst).
  • Lead corrective and preventive action initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance data.
  • Lead, train, and manage quality control personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards. 
  • Handle customer quality concerns and complaints.
  • Maintain detailed quality records and documentation.
  • Coordinate supplier quality and raw material compliance.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to leadership.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control or assurance required.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Prior work experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, and welding
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
SKILLS: Candidates and incumbents must have the following skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve them.

  • Incumbents will constantly utilize written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and speaking, and reach and grasp objects.
  • Incumbents will regularly experience periods of prolonged sitting, standing, walking, traveling/driving a vehicle, and lifting objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Incumbents will occasionally lift objects up to 50 lbs.
  • This position requires the incumbent to operate office equipment such as computers, telephones, fax machines, and copiers. This position would also require the ability to operate fabrication equipment including the revolver pipe-cutting table, plasma table. Onsite training will be provided for both.
  • This position requires the incumbent to operate forklifts and pallet jacks constantly
