Pay Rate Range: $25.00 - $29.00/hr. (DOE)
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through Tekberry)

Overview
Tekberry is seeking a Quality Technician II to support advanced optics manufacturing operations for our client in Fairport, NY. This role focuses on quality disposition, product and material documentation review, and ensuring compliance with quality standards in a high-precision production environment.
The position reports directly to a Quality Supervisor and serves as a key liaison between Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Procurement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while supporting continuous improvement and customer quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Quality & Compliance

โ€ข Review and validate product and material documentation prior to release
โ€ข Maintain compliance with internal quality systems and manufacturing standards
Non-Conformance & Disposition
โ€ข Disposition and transact production events related to non-conforming parts and materials
โ€ข Support containment and corrective action activities
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
Data & Process Management
โ€ข Maintain accurate and timely updates in quality systems and databases
โ€ข Monitor quality metrics and support reporting activities

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
