We are seeking Warehouse Associate to join our Operation Christmas Child team in Charlotte, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Warehouse Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Play an integral part in the processing of over 12 million shoebox gifts
  • Welcome, equip, and coach thousands of volunteers to process OCC shoebox gifts

What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
  • Able to lift and/or move 50 lbs. (consistently over a 7-8 hour shift if a dock worker)
  • Must be a team player
  • Inventory and pallet jack experience
  • Familiarity with trucking and/or container inventory requirements
  • Familiarity with barcode scanning
  • Other duties as assigned

We are hiring for the following Warehouse positions:
Dock Team :
Assist with the safe movement, loading, unloading, and organization of materials throughout the Processing Center while performing constant lifting of 50+ pounds to support an efficient operation and the ministry of Operation Christmas Child.
Forklift :
Load and unload shipping containers and facilitate the efficient movement of materials for processing purposes with the highest regard for volunteer, associate, and product safety. Must possess a current forklift certification.
Inventory Team :
Assisting in processing inventory in accordance with the OCC Processing Center policies and procedures.
Quality Control Team :
Assist with the quality control of the shoebox processing by the volunteer and test for validation purposes.
