Job Description

Position: Quality Control Analyst

Location: Cincinnati Ohio 45213

Duration: 4+ months (Possibility of extension)

Job Responsibilities:

  • BS or higher in science related discipline, chemistry is preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience in FDA regulated environment
  • Perform routine chemical testing of raw materials and packaging components in accordance with USP or in-house methodology
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses using analytical instrumentation
  • Utilize electronic laboratory information systems such as LIMS for processing analytical data
  • Analyze data against approved specifications, notifying management of any OOS and aberrant results
  • Perform peer review of laboratory testing, as required
  • Create and maintain lab record documentation according to GMPs
  • Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time throughout the work day
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. on an occasional basis in order to perform job
