Job description

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Quality Compliance Engineer to support and maintain the QMS (Quality Management System) within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for document control, engineering change management, ERP system updates, internal audits, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable regulatory standards, the ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys collaborating across Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update-controlled documents, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality forms
  • Process engineering change requests (ECRs) and ensure proper documentation, approvals, and implementation
  • Coordinate quality deviations and assist with root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Create and maintain product master data within the ERP system, including BOMs, routings, and specifications
  • Implement approved product and process changes into the ERP system
  • Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits and certification reviews
  • Track audit findings and ensure corrective actions are completed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional quality projects
  • Maintain ERP configurator data for custom products
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of quality assurance, document control, or regulatory compliance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of document control and Quality Management System (QMS) principles
  • Experience processing engineering changes and quality deviations
  • Experience working within an ERP system and maintaining product data (Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, Infor, or similar)
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards (preferred)
  • Familiarity with SEI and/or NOCSAE standards (preferred)
Employment Type & Compensation
  • Full-Time | Direct Hire position
  • Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 annually, based on experience
  • Application Period: This position will remain open until filled
Work Schedule
  • Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
