Job description

WeldFit is looking for a qualified and self-motivated Quality Assurance Administrator. The QA Administrator will oversee the daily operations of the QA branch and be in charge of the below.Duties/Expectations:
  • Verify suppliers reports (Material Test reports, Heat Treatment, NDE, Lab reports) as soon as they come in to ensure they comply with the acceptance criteria defined for the job and to avoid delays in manufacturing.
  • Comply with Inspection test report (ITP) and schedule Third party inspector (TPI) for witness and holding points.
  • Conduct daily audits on ITPs for on-going jobs, ensure ITPs are signed off and correct any deviations observed during the audit.
  • Ensure compliance with WeldFit's quality standards, processes and procedures.
  • Maintain project files in SharePoint.
  • Maintain 6S lean in the workspace
  • Implement paper waste reduction initiatives.

People

  • The QA Adm reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • The QA Adm must be comfortable interfacing with manufacturing, Quality Inspectors, Project managers/coordinator while the job is in progress.
  • The QA Adm will also be required to interact with third party inspectors during the execution of the job.

Technology

  • The QA Adm should be able to use ERP system (Syteline) and QMS (Intelex)
Education/Experience Requirements
  • Ideally 2+ years of experience in QA Administration.
  • College Degree not required but must have equivalent professional or demonstrable relevant experience.
  • Good computer skills are required.
  • Preferred Experience working in a manufacturing environment
