The journey begins here - with Global- a 1st Flagship Company, where we are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team. Key Responsibilities:Assign and delegate work to supervised employees.Conduct routine scheduled inspections on all vessels in the inventory, including fire and flooding alarms, structural integrity and security, hull preservation, CO2 bottles, cathodic protection systems, and dehumidification equipment.Perform quality assurance inspections of ongoing and completed tasks, ensuring corrective actions are implemented as necessary.Train ship personnel on proper inactivation and lay-up procedures for equipment, systems, and ship spaces.Conduct compartment closeout inspections in collaboration with ship personnel during the decommissioning process.Inspect equipment removals, cannibalization activities, and maintenance work to ensure quality workmanship, safety, and security of job sites.Demonstrate a working knowledge of the alarm system Remote Transmitter Unit (RTU) and RUGID systems.Possess knowledge of SABAR/CBSS and MR systems and demonstrate proficiency in identifying and entering discrepancies into the Work Management System (WMS).Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum eight (8) years of ship maintenance experience or relevant military experienceAttention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.Security Clearance:Position requires SECRET Security ClearanceMust be a US Citizen per Inactive Shipoff Instruction 5500.3B of May 13 Global- a 1st Flagship Company is an E-Verify and is an equal opportunity employer.
