Job description

  • You will oversee and execute QA/QC activities for procurement, supplier compliance, and inspection of piping, equipment, and packaged systems to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry codes
  • Prepare and provide project monitoring, cost control, and reporting for the QA/QC discipline
  • Review vendor welding, testing, and NDE procedures
  • Develop, review, and update quality assurance documentation such as Inspection Attribute Lists, Inspection Checklists
  • Inspection/Welding Specifications for product lines in cooperation with ย Engineering and Project Management Departments
  • You will respond to and manage quality issues identified by vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel
  • Ensure root cause analyses methodology is followed and corrective actions are completed in a timely fashion
  • Communicate lessons learned of QA/QC non-conformities to Engineering for implementation into the design and future best practices
  • Further, you will interpret code issues for design, fabrication, inspection, and testing of piping, pressure vessels, and welding
  • Lead the supplier inspection process and develop Project Inspection Plans and coordinate external inspection resources
  • Provide technical support during Inspection visits of purchased equipment for compliance with project specificationsย  and tools required for QA/QC Engineering and Supplier Inspections, within theย  Quality Management System
  • Support Supplier audits and evaluationย 
  • Perform Supplier Cleaning witness and inspection for O2 service and UHP applications.
