About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support quality and food safety operations in a food manufacturing/dairy production environment in Cabot, Vermont.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of quality experience in food manufacturing or dairy, strong knowledge of microbiology, food science, HACCP, and SQF, and experience managing Quality Assurance metrics and key performance indicators.

This role will help maintain food safety and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Quality Assurance and food safety activities across manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor product quality, food safety, and process performance to ensure established standards are met.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA metrics and KPIs to measure quality performance.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Apply knowledge of microbiology, food science, HACCP, and SQF principles to manufacturing operations.
  • Support food safety programs, quality systems, inspections, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and support effective corrective actions.
  • Partner with Production, Operations, and other departments to resolve quality and food safety concerns.
  • Help maintain quality documentation, procedures, records, and reporting systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, food safety, process efficiency, and risk reduction.
  • Communicate quality performance, trends, and key issues to management.
  • Promote a strong culture of food safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a scientific field, such as Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within food manufacturing or a dairy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of microbiology, food science, HACCP, and SQF or equivalent food safety and quality systems.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and administering Quality Assurance metrics and KPIs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HACCP certification.
  • PQCI certification.
  • SQF certification or strong hands-on SQF experience.
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience supporting food safety audits, quality systems, or regulatory inspections.
