Job description

At Custom Foods, Inc., our business is rising! We are an industry-leading frozen dough manufacturer located in De Soto, Kansas, and are looking for another Great Dough Hero to join our team. We are in need of an experienced, confident, Quality Assurance Technician ready to take the next step in their career. Our core products are frozen doughs for bread, pizza and cookies.

Must Haves:

3 yrs experience in QA, must be in food mfg.

2nd shift only (approx. 3pm to 1:30am)

Experience with SQF/BRC food safety systems

Be an investigator, initiating corrective actions and performing root cause analysis

Able to make recommendations to management for process improvement

Good math and record keeping skills

Attention to detail

Good communicator

Problem solver

Allergen Management experience

Self motivated; able to take clear direction and finish tasks w/ minimal oversight

Must speak, read and write in English

Must be able to climb stairs, stand for long periods of time to observe production processes and carry up to 20 lbs occasionally

Must be passionate about Food Safety and Quality

Preferred Skills:

HACCP/PCQI certification

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
