The role of the Quality Assurance Advisor is to ensure the community construction team's compliance to the Company's construction methods and to advise business unit management on changes and improvements to our standards. You'll perform quality standard inspections and reviews, and analyze field safety and water intrusion practices. Make field visits and ensure that our homes are built in accordance with specifications and details, or that variances have been reviewed and approved. You will identify opportunities for improvement and develop cost-efficient and value oriented construction methods.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or construction management and 10 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of construction materials. Knowledge of basic math with some cost accounting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand, follow, and train others in established safety procedures. Ability to understand and follow construction plans, blueprints, specifications, and warranty standards. Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license.
