What You Will Do
• Follow all Pratt & Whitney policies, procedures, and ACE guidelines
• Support, train, and coach inspection personnel in daily activities
• Perform SAP job audits for Op Cert surveillance
• Work the designated AWW weekend schedule; occasional additional weekend coverage may be required
• Review, investigate, and disposition parts or materials placed in Quality Review due to deviations from engineering specifications
• Interpret engineering drawings, engine manuals, clearance charts, and specifications to assess severity of deviations
• Make technical dispositions based on evaluation requirements and end-use considerations
• Evaluate Quality Notifications and related documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain proper control and storage of nonconforming material
• Follow all EH&S guidelines, including proper use of PPE
• Perform ODA Unit Member duties as described in the PW ODA Manual to support Operations and Spares shipments
• Perform additional duties within role scope to support department objectives and enhance skill development
What You Will Learn
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across key areas of Quality inspection and material evaluation while supporting weekend operations. You'll strengthen your technical inspection abilities, expand your understanding of Pratt & Whitney Quality systems, and build confidence in making accurate and compliant disposition decisions. You will learn how to interpret complex engineering documentation, apply industry-standard inspection methodologies, and navigate SAP and other Quality IT systems to support production flow. You will also develop skills in coaching and supporting inspection personnel, understanding ODA requirements, and working within a fast-paced logistics and repair environment. This position provides a strong foundation for advancing within Quality, Operations, and Engineering roles.
Qualifications You Must Have
• Proficiency in dimensional and geometric part inspection and inspection equipment use
• Prior Quality inspection experience; 3+ years desired
• Strong understanding of Quality systems and methodologies
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Project
• U.S. Citizenship required
Qualifications We Prefer
• A&P License preferred but not required; applicable experience accepted
• ACE Associate, Lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma Green Belt experience (preferred)
• FAA ODA Certification, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Experience with SAP and other IT Quality systems

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
