 What You will Do:

  • Primarily gather, compile, process, and portray Quality Engineering (technical) data that helps ensure part and process quality are achieved and sustained.  Efforts support/conveyed to others.  Work can be connected to either Part Qualification Requirements assurance and/or Non-Conforming Material evaluations.
  • Interact w/ multiple computer systems / software  
  • Spot discrepancies in information or processing of information and take appropriate actions
  • Collaboratively engage daily with your Project / Team leader, Peers
  • Help Quest Global grow while you learn and develop your career

What You Will Bring:

  • AS-Technical Degree
  • Minimum 3+ years relevant to role experience
  • Alternate: 10+ years relevant to role with no / non-tech degree
  • Experience with Aero-Engine OEMs (highly noteworthy)
  • Other Technical Certifications (noteworthy)

Required Skills (Technical Competency) / Attributes:

  • Relevant experience in: Quality Management System, Part Qualification (QA, MRL, FAI, PPAP, etc.), Non-Conformance Management, and/or Continuous Improvement (Development).
  • Operating in procedure based and regulatory controlled environments
  • Read Engineering prints utilizing GD&T and comprehend Quality Requirements
  • Gaging experience (manual, visual, computer based, SPC, etc)
  • Entering, probing, and extracting technical data within a MRP / ERP system (SAP preferred)
  • Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook – common user (analysis, charts, macros, pivot tables)
  • Prior demonstrated ability to focus on semi-recurring tasks
  • Familiarity with gas turbine engine workings, design, manufacturing, MRO – preferred.

Pay Range: $25-35/hour w/ potential OT at times plus benefits

Shifts Available: 1st shift M-F.  Full-Time hourly role

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and other incentives.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Enfield, CT. USA for initial 6 months.

We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align to company policies. This position is in central Connecticut and is considered hybrid (i.e. home / office – Windsor, CT / possible customer locations -central CT).  Work location split is subject to change based on the needs and location of changeable assigned work.

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. 
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel requirements: Travel to Enfield CT (6 months).  Occasional travel is part of is required in general.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
