Job description

Primary Duties:
  • Ensure product quality meets specifications - customer requirements; perform quality inspections as required.
  • Inspect finished product visually. If required, also inspect using hand-held equipment, flashlight.
  • Responsible for assuring nonconforming material or suspect nonconforming material is segregated from the rack and identified properly in separate rack.
  • Accurately record nonconforming products by defect electronically and/or manually.
  • Pack the windows into racks using proper glass handling techniques.
  • Must follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain a constant flow of product for the area line.
  • Assist with off-line containment, inspection, and segregation of product if required.
  • Ensure the Packing Specifications are followed for each part being packed.
  • Perform 5S and housekeeping duties to maintain high standard of facility cleanliness.
  • Fulfill assignments/ tasks given.
  • Train and encourage others to achieve team goals.
  • Support safety, health, and environmental rules and lead by example.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:
  • Knowledgeable in position-specific SOPs
  • High attention to detail and very customer focused
  • Ability to work in temperatures of extreme hot or cold based on weather conditions
