Position Overview:

The Supplier Quality Associate Manager is responsible for ensuring that all incomingingredients and packagingraw materials meet the company's quality and safety standards. This role involves inspecting, testing, and documenting raw material quality, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues, issuing and closing/validating supplier corrective and preventive actions and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in food safety and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain incoming material quality program.

Inspect and verify the quality of incoming raw materials against specifications and regulatory standards.

Maintain accurate records of raw material inspections, test results, and supplier performance.

Collaborate with procurement and production teams to address non-conformances or quality concerns.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for raw material-related issues.

Conduct scheduled verifications and Validation of implemented supplier corrective and preventative actions to prevent the re-occurrence of deviations.

Support and conduct supplier audits and assistin the qualification of new raw material vendors.

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP, FSMA).

Participate in internal audits and support third-party inspections.

Train production staff on raw material handling and quality protocols.

Monitor storage conditions and shelf life of raw materials.

Maintain supplier Quality and service score card

Management and training of team members

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Packing Engineering or a related field.

2+ years of experience in food quality assurance or raw material inspection.

PCQI Certification

Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, SQF, BRC, etc.).

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

May require travel up to 10 %

Hours, Location and Pay:

We offer a competitive-based pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This role is from 8:00am to 4:30pm on a Monday- Friday schedule at our Little Chute, WI manufacturing facility, and will assist with tasks to support the Neenah, WI location. These hours may flex during audits and based off job duties assigned.

Physical and Mental Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
