Quality Technician

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Quality Technicians for a leading manufacturing company located in Starbuck, MN. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!

What You'll Do:

  • Provide guidance, assistance, and support to production leadership in developing and implementing corrective action responses
  • Lead and/or assist the MRB meetings and assignments
  • Review corrective action responses and monitor for repetitive issues
  • Supervise and report on DMR, Corrective and/or Preventive Action activity to management
  • Lead and/or assist in representing the company in vendor/supplier quality issues
  • Maintain effective communication with customers regarding issues of quality and process improvement
  • Assist as needed in providing information for the estimating and evaluation of both new and existing customer projects
  • Supervise or assist in all PPAP submissions
  • Conduct first article inspections, DCCM inspections, in-process inspections, and manage the quality control calibration system as required by the quality assurance manager
  • Manage department documentation, as related to quality control
  • Meet with outside business contacts and resources, as related to quality control
  • Create and maintain filing systems for various records, forms, and confidential information
  • Maintain a policy of personal growth including but not limited to attending, seminars, workshops, classes, and involvement in associations, as well as conducting production quality training within the company

What You Need to Bring:

  • Experience handling customer product quality issues and serving as a quality representative in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to support and lead corrective and preventative action processes, including root cause analysis
  • Strong working knowledge of inspections, including first article and in process inspections
  • Experience with calibration and management of quality control equipment and gages
  • Familiarity with quality systems, documentation control, and recordkeeping practices
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally with production, engineering, and leadership teams
  • Experience supporting supplier quality issues and participating in processes such as MRB or PPAP
  • Knowledge of GD&T, CMM operation, and general safety and quality training requirements
