Job description

DESCRIPTION:
  • Assists the Detail Supervisor, in the planning and scheduling daily / weekly vehicle movement within established estimated completion times (ETC)
  • Supports the Detail Supervisor in identifying and resolving problems (staging issues, damages, warranty claims, quality control issues and compliance with C-TPAT).
  • Keeps abreast of all Federal and State regulations that will impact Servco
  • Ensure warranty issues are handled, processed, and documented correctly, and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with making recommendations for short-term planning of workload, vehicle storage, facility and equipment improvement and staffing needs
  • Assists with planning, and coordinate vehicle movement within storage facility
  • Supervise and monitor quality control processes and apply "Kaizen" methods for improvement
  • Maintain accurate and updated records related to Health and Safety.
  • Supervises and assist in the development of safety standards and procedures to prevent and minimize damage to vehicles, injury to staff and comply with OSHA, HAZMAT and environmental license regulations
  • Prepares and submits accident reports, TQCN reports, dealer delivery and condition reports on a timely basis
  • Assists in Identifying and helps the Detail supervisor with all work orders to ensure accuracy and organized by priority.
  • Assist and back up the Detail Supervisor when Detail supervisor is out, including morning meetings, daily shop preparation, dispatching, payroll, and all other duties needed.
  • Assist in ensuring a safe and organized workplace
  • Perform other duties as requested

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum High school graduate or equivalent
  • Associate degree in Automotive Body and Paint or Auto Technology preferred
  • Minimum two to three years of automotive or detailing work experience
  • Minimum two years of work experience in a production and quality control field in a supervisory role
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to obtain TWIC card
  • HAZMAT certification preferred
  • Knowledgeable of production and quality control activities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Oracle knowledge preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to operate standard shift and automatic transmission
