Job description

HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator

EZ Plenum is seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our growing manufacturing team. We manufacture HVAC air distribution, ventilation products, ductwork components, plenums, fittings, curbs, and custom sheet metal products, primarily using galvanized sheet metal and aluminum.


Responsibilities
  • Cut, form, fabricate, assemble, and finish HVAC sheet metal components
  • Read measurements, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and layouts
  • Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment including brakes, shears, benders, rollers, and other shop machinery
  • Operate or assist with CNC fabrication equipment
  • Fabricate HVAC ductwork, fittings, plenums, transitions, boxes, and air distribution products
  • Measure, mark, cut, bend, fasten, and assemble galvanized steel and aluminum components
  • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate dimensions and consistent fabrication quality
  • Assist with product assembly, production, and general shop operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area


Qualifications
  • Previous sheet metal fabrication or HVAC duct fabrication experience preferred
  • Experience working with galvanized sheet metal and aluminum
  • Comfortable operating sheet metal machinery and fabrication equipment
  • Ability to accurately use tape measures and basic fabrication math
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Able to work independently and as part of a production team
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship
  • CNC machine experience is a strong plus
