We are searching for the best talent for Quality Assurance Tech I position.
Entry support individual contributor, who supports staff in various processes in the Quality Control function. Executes day-to-day laboratory activities such as sample management, supply ordering and receipt, and general housekeeping, under direct supervision. Supports data review and metrics reporting. Implements risk mitigations and process improvements under direct supervision. Escalates issues and risks as required.
You will be responsible for:
Under general direction/supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
  • Complete assigned tasks in support of the Quality Control (QC) unit while adhering to established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
  • Assist laboratory personnel with:
    • Sample receipt and handling
    • Reagent and supply management
    • Laboratory housekeeping activities
  • Perform testing of finished product samples under direct supervision.
  • Apply Quality Control knowledge to:
    • Review quality analysis results
    • Identify and report quality issues as required
  • Analyze data to identify risks and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Demonstrate Johnson & Johnson's Leadership Imperatives and Credo in daily interactions and teamwork.
  • Conduct in-process and final product quality analyses and inspections in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Interpret and evaluate analytical results for accuracy and precision against established specifications.
  • Identify ongoing quality concerns and help prevent potential production issues.
  • Recommend improvements to quality processes and procedures.
  • Operate measuring devices, testing equipment, and approved testing methods to determine product acceptance or rejection.
  • Audit and monitor manufacturing processes and outputs to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory quality standards.
  • Test random samples of finished goods for quality verification.
  • Report manufacturing process deviations, defects, and quality concerns.
  • Communicate business-related issues and opportunities to the appropriate management level.
  • Follow all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:
Education
  • High School Graduate or Vocational Certified

Experience and Skills
Required:
  • Minimum of 1 year of inspection experience.
  • Working knowledge of blueprint reading.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical inspection processes.
  • Understanding of Quality System Regulations (QSR) and ISO requirements.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) certification
