Position Summary

Haygor Instrument & Company is seeking an experienced Quality & Safety Manager to lead our Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety Program. This leadership role ensures compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while driving continuous improvement, managing audits, promoting workplace safety, and fostering a culture of quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Plan and lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits.
  • Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), quality metrics, and supplier quality.
  • Investigate quality issues and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain the company's Safety Management Program.
  • Lead incident investigations, safety training, emergency preparedness, and Safety Committee initiatives.
  • Collaborate across departments to improve product quality, safety, and operational performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Experience maintaining ISO 9001 certification and leading audits.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and quality management software is a plus.
