Qualified Mental Health Professional

Amethyst Consulting & Treatment Solutions is dedicated to helping young people and families thrive through compassionate, community-centered care. We're looking for aQualified Mental Health Therapistto join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys flexibility, variety, and the chance to have a meaningful impact every day.


What You'll Do:

In this role, you'll support clients from the first point of contact, providing therapy, linking families to resources, and helping bridge gaps in care. You'll work with individuals on the waitlist, offer clinical coverage across programs, and partner with community stakeholders to strengthen connections.


How You'll Make a Difference:

  • Deliver therapy and support to clients on the waitlist; in their homes, in the community, or via telehealth
  • Provide crisis intervention and clinical coverage when situations require it
  • Connect clients and families with vital community resources and services
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and clinical supervisors to ensure smooth transitions and high-quality care
  • Strengthening relationships with referral sources, community partners, and other stakeholders
  • Lead or contribute to outreach, education, and marketing efforts that promote Amethyst's programs


Who We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
  • At least one year of post-graduate counseling experience
  • Bilingual/Spanish fluency is a PLUS
  • A flexible, adaptable mindset - you see change as an opportunity for growth
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment, especially in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • A confident communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills - able to connect effectively with clients, families, colleagues, and community partners
  • Interpersonal skills that foster mutual trust, respect, and collaboration
  • Self-motivation and initiative; you take ownership of your work and follow through
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment
  • Comfort providing services in the community (must have reliable transportation)
  • Experience supporting youth and families from diverse backgrounds
