  • Deliver group therapy sessions to help patients share experiences and learn from one another while processing trauma in a supportive environment.
  • Collaborate proactively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated, holistic approach to patient care.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies to stabilize and guide them through acute distress.
  • Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources through structured sessions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines related to patient confidentiality.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities, team meetings, and case consultations to further enhance trauma-informed care practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and emerging best practices in the field of trauma therapy to optimize treatment outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will play a critical role in helping these patients navigate their recovery journey, enabling them to develop essential coping skills and regain their sense of self.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
  • 2 years of relevant post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Robust understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
  • Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic and non-judgmental approach toward patient interactions.
Compensation and Benefits
