Job Summary:

The Maintenance Tech III is responsible for completing maintenance tasks to repair and preserve the quality of the facilities equipment. Their duties include conducting routine maintenance checks and providing expertise in relevant areas of maintenance. The Tech’s role is to maintain building operations properties and equipment, while also providing expertise to enhance facilities or longevity of equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine facilities and equipment maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards.
  • Following standard operating procedures, the Tech installs, inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety and waste management systems.
  • Employ advanced mechanical skills required to perform project tasks, including painting, drywall, carpentry, welding and fabrication.
  • Possesses advanced skills in performing repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and waste management systems.
  • Work with or assist trades contractors to complete projects or complex repairs.
  • Perform preventative measures to the facilities, properties and equipment to reduce the risk of future problems.
  • Assist in moving furniture or materials within the facility.

  • Has high proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
  • Reports to Maintenance Supervisor on current jobs in progress.
  • Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
  • Troubleshoot, repair and/or perform preventative maintenance related to facilities, properties and production equipment.
  • Create solutions for complex maintenance issues, including facility, property, or equipmentrelated items.
  • Support company, facilities, properties and equipment as needed and assigned.
