Quail Run Health System is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our innovative team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma experiences and individual needs.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, integrating evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.
  • Provide specialized therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop coping strategies, and enhance their healing journey.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for all patients.
  • Deliver crisis intervention support in high-pressure situations to assist clients facing trauma-related emergencies.
  • Educate clients and their support systems about trauma responses, coping skills, and community resources.
  • Maintain complete and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Engage in professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and staying abreast of evolving practices in trauma therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on serving a diverse group of patients who have experienced various forms of trauma. You will be instrumental in providing care for individuals across different backgrounds, ensuring that therapy is not only accessible but also culturally sensitive and relevant to their specific situations. The therapist will play a crucial role in empowering patients to reclaim their narratives and improve their mental well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapy modalities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
  • A capability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
  • Proficiency in managing electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on trauma treatment preferred.
  • Experience in facilitating both group and individual therapy sessions tailored to the needs of trauma survivors.
