Position Summary
Sprout is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QMS + Training Coordinator to drive quality, safety, and compliance standards across our facility operations. This role supports the maintenance of our QEHS Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), R2v3, NAID AAA, and internal policies, while also leading the development and rollout of SOPs and site-level training programs.
This is a critical dual-function role focused on defending the castle (audit readiness, data security, environmental compliance) and tripling down on performance consistency through training and documentation.
Responsibilities
QMS Ownership & Documentation
  • Support the corporate Compliance Manager at the facility level by controlling QMS documentation, including version control, approvals, and accessibility.
  • Support the Facility Manager by maintaining audit, compliance, and certification records to support inspections and internal reviews.
  • Support the Director of Continuous improvement by ensuring operational process documentation aligns with approved SOWs and QEHS policies.

Audit & Certification Readiness
  • Act as the site level liaison during internal and external audits.
  • Track and facilitate corrective actions, ensuring closure within defined timeframes.
  • Support certification readiness with up-to-date site documentation and practices.

Training & Competency
  • Help develop and standardize SOP in partnership with operational SME's.
  • Support onboarding and recurring QMS, environmental, health & safety, and data security training.
  • Maintain accurate training logs to verify workforce competency and compliance.

Risk, Safety & Compliance
  • Support risk assessments focused on data security, environmental impact, and OH&S hazards.

Cross-Functional Support
  • Participate in site Gemba walks.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and technical departments to ensure operational compliance with the QMS.
  • Prepare and present QMS metrics and trends at safety committee meetings and site reviews.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years in a compliance, quality, safety, or training coordination role within an industrial, manufacturing, or ITAD environment
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, R2v3, NAID AAA, or ISO 14001/45001
  • Experience maintaining SOPs, training logs, or audit records
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint
  • Comfortable leading cross-functional coordination between ops, EHS, and IT teams
  • Able to lift to 30 lbs. and work in a warehouse environment as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in electronics recycling, data sanitization, or IT asset disposition (ITAD)
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO internal auditor certification
  • Familiarity with ERP or LMS systems for tracking compliance and training
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
