2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm 

As the Supervisor, Quality you will establish, implement and maintain the processes for the Quality Management System (QMS). 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Execute the QMS according to documented policies and procedures, meeting the requirements of the applicable international quality standards
  • Review the QMS at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness, including assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for system changes
  • Provide high-level reporting on the performance of the system and any recommendations for improvement
  • Serve as the site audit authority for all internal and external company audits
  • Post all company quality policies and address policy training to make sure it is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels
  • Ensure that facility/departmental training, status and setup is reviewed at the required frequency and that the training requirements are met in a timely manner
  • Execute corrective and preventive actions, including initiation and recommendation of solutions, and project management; verify solution has been implemented until defect has been corrected
  • Implement quality initiatives at facilities as required

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
  • 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience 
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
  • Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); material handling equipment and storage medium, distribution and inventory management; ERP systems, LEAN warehousing, ISO, QMS and meeting facilitation
  • Knowledge of OSHA, Environmental Health and Safety, and Material Safety Data Sheets regulations and compliance
  • Ability to generate quality metrics and reports

This job requires the ability to:       

  • Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
  • Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
  • Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
  • Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
