Job description

$15 / hour

Help create some of this year's brand-new shows, attractions and events. Do you have previous experience and are looking to continue using your skills in an amusement park setting? Now is your chance to do just that by becoming a Live Shows Technician with Carowinds Live Entertainment Department.

  • Technicians with audio, lighting, networking and show control backgrounds.
  • Audio Engineers with troubleshooting skills, understanding of signal flow in live mixing; knowledge of QLab playback and show control as well as digital sound consoles such as Mackie and Allen+Heath are a plus.
  • Master Electricians to oversee and maintain designated show rigs and control systems. Must be capable of troubleshooting equipment and software problems at a moment's notice. Knowledge of conventional and moving lighting fixtures, DMX addressing and ETC Consoles are a must. Knowledge of Video Walls, Pixel/LED tape and Power Distro Racks are a plus. 
  • Operate a variety of equipment, as assigned, such as golf carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, construction equipment, and motor vehicles.
  • Work individually or in a team setting.
