Regal Staffing Services is hiring Quality Control (QC) Technicians for a manufacturing company that produces nicotine pouch products.
Schedule
  • 12-hour rotating shifts (2-week rotating schedule)
  • Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
  • Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour
  • Climate-controlled facility
Position Summary
The Quality Control (QC) Technician is responsible for performing laboratory testing, product sampling, data entry, and quality inspections to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality and supporting production release timelines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Collect samples of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to established sampling procedures.
  • Perform laboratory tests following standard operating procedures, including pH, density, net content, seam measurements, sensory evaluations, and other quality tests.
  • Prepare and organize samples for internal and third-party microbiological testing.
  • Record test results accurately and in real time using the Quality Management System (QMS) or laboratory documentation.
  • Identify and immediately report any out-of-specification (OOS) results.
  • Assist with investigations by performing retesting and completing required documentation.
  • Verify and calibrate laboratory equipment daily while maintaining accurate calibration logs.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, reagent inventory, and compliance with GMP and safety standards.
  • Enter quality data for product release and support production schedules by completing testing on time.
  • Organize and maintain retain samples for future reference.
  • Assist with shelf-life studies, method verification, and other quality improvement projects.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of laboratory or quality control experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or GMP manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic laboratory testing methods and laboratory equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills.
  • Experience using LIMS, QMS, or spreadsheet software is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tests and meet production release deadlines.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Work in an active manufacturing environment.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
  • Frequently bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work around moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • PPE is required at all times in production areas.
