Actual Job Title: Quality Control Scientist

Position Overview

The Quality Control Scientist will support quality control testing and product release activities within a regulated manufacturing environment.

This position is intentionally structured to rotate between bacteriology/immunology QC laboratory work during the first half and clinical/animal-side responsibilities during the second half, providing exposure to end-to-end product release operations.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working in a regulated environment, and able to follow established laboratory procedures, quality standards, and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test manufacturing samples using applicable assays while following good aseptic practices.

  • Maintain testing schedules and ensure adequate reagent and laboratory supply levels.

  • Prepare media and reagents according to established procedures.

  • Perform pipetting and other routine laboratory techniques.

  • Conduct media fill inspections and equipment monitoring.

  • Complete laboratory documentation in accordance with cGMP guidelines.

  • Clean and maintain laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and facility areas.

  • Follow all Zoetis Quality Standards, Policies, and Procedures.

  • Provide support for laboratory investigations (LIR) and assigned projects.

  • Utilize QC software packages required for routine laboratory activities.

  • Work with MODA EM, zLIMS, and SAP systems.

  • Support the transition between laboratory QC activities and clinical/animal-side responsibilities.

  • Follow all applicable laboratory and workplace safety practices.

  • Collaborate with QC, manufacturing, and other teams to support compliant and timely product release.

Education & Experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred.

  • Previous laboratory experience preferred.

  • Experience with aseptic technique, pipetting, media preparation, or QC testing is a plus.

  • Familiarity with cGMP documentation and regulated laboratory environments is beneficial.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
