Job description

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
Monday - Thursday 
7:00am- 5:30pm
$21.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated parts, welds, assemblies, and finished products.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, weld symbols, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, gauges, squares, and other inspection tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Inspect weld quality, fit-up, workmanship, and finished components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming materials or workmanship to production supervisors and management.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and work with production personnel to correct quality issues and reduce rework.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous quality control, manufacturing, welding, or metal fabrication experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, fabrication drawings, measurements, tolerances, and weld symbols.
  • Knowledge of welding and metal fabrication processes and the ability to recognize quality defects.
  • Ability to accurately use measuring and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures.
