About the Role:
Innovative Machine is a machine shop in southwest NH specializing in custom machining and fabrication/welding for a wide spectrum of customers including the paper industry as well as Aerospace and D.O.D. Join Innovative Machine as a Quality Control and Inspection Supervisor in Winchester, NH, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality. Previous "machine shop" experience is preferred. Be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence and innovation in every project.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily quality control operations and inspections (in process inspections as well as final inspections) to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand and read prints and prepare inspection reports
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and enhance processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of materials and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Receiving/shipping/packaging of materials and products
  • Ordering/Stocking of shop supplies
  • Ability to Breakdown prints for material quoting and estimating
  • Inspection and re-certification of all in-house measuring equipment
  • Mechanical ability is a must for final assembly of many products in-house
  • Maintain a friendly environment for vendor/customer interactions
  • Computer experience as well as CMM experience a plus
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in a machine shop manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to CLEARLY read and understand prints
  • Ability to use ID/OD micrometers, calipers, and various inspection tools (supplied by Innovative Machine)
  • Good people skills (dealing with employees, salespeople, and customers)
  • Work hours are a must from 6am-4pm daily
