If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

What Youโ€™ll Be Working On
  • Lead execution of the site-level QA/QC program for large-scale, mission-critical data center construction

  • Develop and maintain the Site-Level Quality Management Plan (QMP)

  • Ensure critical MEP systems (electrical distribution, mechanical cooling, controls) are installed in accordance with design intent, specifications, and performance requirements

  • Partner closely with construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to drive quality outcomes

  • Develop and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and inspection processes across all project phases

  • Perform and oversee field inspections across civil, structural, and MEP scopes, with a strong emphasis on system-level quality

  • Coordinate with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and third-party special inspectors on code compliance and inspection sign-offs

  • Validate installation against drawings, specifications, submittals, and commissioning requirements

  • Drive pre-functional and functional readiness in coordination with commissioning teams

  • Provide quality sign-off for systems prior to commissioning and turnover

  • Track and manage deficiencies, punch lists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs) end-to-end

  • Analyze quality metrics, defect trends, and rework drivers to identify systemic issues and drive continuous improvement

  • Enforce contractual quality standards across GCs and subcontractors, including escalation of non-conformance and corrective actions

  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of turnover documentation (as-builts, redlines, test reports, O&M manuals)

  • Support audit readiness and maintain high-quality documentation and reporting standards

What Success Looks Like
  • High-quality MEP system installations ready for first-pass commissioning success

  • Minimal rework driven by early detection and proactive quality enforcement

  • Strong alignment between construction execution and commissioning outcomes

  • Reduced repeat defects and systemic quality issues across trades

  • Clean, complete, and audit-ready turnover documentation packages

  • Clear visibility into quality performance through metrics and reporting

Who You Are
  • 5โ€“7+ years (Manager) / 8โ€“12+ years (Senior) experience in construction QA/QC, ideally within mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects

  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, including electrical distribution and mechanical/cooling systems

  • Experience supporting commissioning readiness and system turnover

  • Proven ability managing NCRs, punch lists, inspections, and QA documentation at scale

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical submittals

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-driven environment with multiple stakeholders

  • Strong attention to detail with a systems-oriented and analytical mindset

  • Experience using quality data (defect tracking, trend analysis) to drive decisions and improvements

Nice to Have
  • Data center or hyperscale experience (AWS, Meta, Google, Microsoft, etc.)

  • Complex large scale commercial construction experience such as Healthcare, Semi-Conductor, Refinery, or Central Plants

  • Experience working closely with commissioning (Cx) teams

  • Familiarity with tools such as Procore, BIM360, or similar construction management platforms

  • Relevant certifications (CQM, CQI, PMP, or similar)

Additional Expectations
  • Ability to hold contractors accountable to quality standards, including escalation when necessary

  • Willingness to be on-site full-time in Amarillo, TX
