Quality Control Chemist

Gas Chromatography (GC) and/or Liquid Chromatography (LC).

  • QC experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Automated Titrators, FTIR and UV/Vis Spectrophotometer.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)
  • Adapt, maintain and operate analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, TOC, UV, etc. and minor trouble shooting of equipment.
  • Perform routine laboratory analysis, such as finished product testing, dissolution testing, stability testing, raw material testing, cleaning verification testing and manufacturing in-process testing.
  • Documentation of log books, in-house calibration records, temperature and humidity records, etc.
  • Perform analytical testing on finished products, In-process (Blend Uniformity), and Cleaning Validation samples.
  • Developing, reviewing, and updating standard operating procedures for the laboratory.
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure all lab processes are running correctly.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry ,Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
  • Must have prior experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry, using analytical techniques including HPLC and GC.
  • Must have knowledge of cGMPs, Quality Concepts, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail.
