Job description

Job Summary
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of process control, validation, and improvement activities. This position is responsible for the handling of customer complaints and walking them through the system for resolution. Responsible for training of new employees as well as on-going training for warehouse employees in ISO procedures.
Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
• Develop and implement verification plans for all current and new product
• Development and implementation of process improvement plans as required
• Champion for change control/ECN process
• Oversees testing of processes and products
• Verify that inspection procedures by all warehouse personnel are accurate and in compliance with quality control procedures. Distribute procedures and maintain all ISO 9002 books in warehouse
• Establish quality control standards and procedures for all departments and ensure that all necessary personnel are aware of the procedures
• Coordinate all root cause analysis activities. Train new hires on ISO procedures and conduct training classes on Corrective Action Reports with responsible warehouse employees
• Conduct FAI, PFMEA, PPAP and process mapping activities as required
• Develop specific programs for individual accounts as required and assist customers with developing quality control procedures
• Develop, implement, and maintain all documentation of quality system
• Support all APQP related activities
• Work with Regional Quality/Safety Manager on all ISO 9002 audits by customers, corporate and UL auditors
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years' experience in both safety and quality related positions
• College degree preferred
