We have an opening for Director of IT Enterprise Systems (QAD)

Location - Wheeling, IL

Full time permanent position

The Director IT Enterprise Systems provides leadership and oversight in the design, technical implementation, and support of IT services within the scope of the organization s Enterprise System (QAD). Develops and executes a comprehensive strategy for enterprise applications that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives. Provides visionary leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed. Manages software applications, custom applications, project management, ancillary systems, system

administration, and budgets.

Collaborates with key business leaders to determine enterprise system needs and develops short-term and long-term strategies to accommodate those needs.

Provides operational direction for the IT architects, business analysts, application developers and project managers.

Builds and mentors a high-performing team of IT staff and develops team members. Foster a culture of

collaboration, innovation, and accountability to drive success in the enterprise applications function.

Creates and maintains relationships with key software companies, consultants, and vendors who provide services supporting enterprise solutions or have potential to provide software or services to meet business needs.

Maintains enterprise applications, scalability, reliability and security which supports the business requirements.

Manages all contracts and budgets relating to the enterprise systems, including the core ERP system and all ancillary systems that communicate with the core ERP system.

Manages all IT architects, business analysts, application developers and system administrators through daily communication, performance reviews, and compensation reviews.

Oversees operational activity and management of IT requests from business users and provides support in facilitating these change/modification requests.

Other tasks/functions as assigned.
