Job description

Description
The Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector will provide support to the SMT, Through Hole, and Systems Integration processes. The QA Inspector will perform product quality control inspections and process audits using microscopes, assembly drawings, and gauges to assure compliance to both SynQor's and external specifications and standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect in-process and finished assemblies including SMT and THT printed circuit board assemblies and system assemblies to determine acceptability based on IPC-A-610 Class 2 and Class 3 and SynQor internal workmanship standards and specifications.
  • Perform other duties related to product quality as deemed necessary to support the Quality & Reliability and Production Process teams.

Required skills and experience:
  • Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 Class 2 & Class 3 standards. Certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-620 and J-STD-001 inspection criteria.
  • Minimum of 3 years electronic assembly inspection experience is desired.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read & communicate in English
