Job Description

Quality Assurance / Software Test Manager

Location: Dearborn, MI 48120

Duration: 6 Months +

Summary:

Lead a group of Test Leads and Test Engineers and be ultimately responsible for test planning, test execution and delivery of all QA and testing activities as part of new product launches and integration projects.

The person will drive adoption of test automation across application portfolios to improve time to market and enhance test coverage. Provide technical and process guidance to other QA staff. Promote wider adoption of testing processes and tools across various projects to bring consistency and repeatability among various vendors executing projects.

  • Apply practical test automation experience and scripting best practices
  • Collaborate with leaders of other technology or business functions and platforms including architecture, strategy, operations and vendor partners to understand and deliver QA capabilities.
  • Own direct accountability for QA solution development that meets scope, quality and timing of projects.
  • Provide technical and thought leadership for enhancing existing test automation framework and promote shift-left testing with the help of automation


Qualifications

Qualification

  • BA/BS in Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing QA Teams encompassing multiple technology platforms and application
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in directly managing test automation teams
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in directly managing performance and load testing resources
  • Previous experience in managing testing teams responsible for application quality on mobile and cloud platforms
  • Previous experience in mobile testing and mobile test automation frameworks
