Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM โ€“ 11:00 PM) or 3rd Shift (11:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM)

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance / Quality Control Supervisor to lead quality operations within a high-precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing the full quality lifecycle, including raw material inspection, in-process validation, and final product certification.

The position combines team leadership with strong technical expertise in quality systems, statistical analysis, and laboratory-based testing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring product integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise QA specialists, inspectors, and lab technicians across assigned shifts
  • Establish and implement quality procedures, inspection protocols, and testing standards
  • Make critical โ€œrun / no-runโ€ and product acceptance decisions in collaboration with operations and leadership
  • Conduct and oversee physical and chemical testing of raw materials and finished products
  • Utilize precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.) to verify product specifications
  • Analyze production and quality data using statistical tools (SPC, control charts) to identify trends and improvements
  • Manage CAPA processes, non-conformance reporting, and customer complaints through QMS systems
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of all quality activities
  • Train team members on quality standards, inspection techniques, and lab procedures
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable industry regulations

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Quality, Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing quality environments
  • Hands-on experience with quality systems, CAPA, and non-conformance management
  • Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis
  • Experience working with laboratory testing, inspection processes, or quality validation methods
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems (QMS)
  • Strong leadership or team coordination experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and quality/data tracking tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Work Environment & Requirements
  • Must be open to working 2nd or 3rd shift (mandatory)
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and perform hands-on inspection and testing activities
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Strong attention to detail and visual inspection capability required

Preferred Background (Nice to Have)
  • Experience in regulated or high-precision manufacturing environments (e.g., printing, packaging, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or automotive)
  • ASQ certification or equivalent quality certification
