Job description

Job Summary:
In this role, you have the opportunity to ensure the quality of our products meets the high demand requirements of the aerospace industry. This position supports incoming inspection, in-process, and final inspection.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring quality at a production line level by incorporating spot-inspection, sampling, 1st-piece verification and 100% inspection as required.
  • Verifying compliance of in-process material against Customer and Industry Standards
  • Ensuring documentation is accurately recorded and collected.
  • Identifies defects, deviations from specifications, and non-compliance issues, and collaborates the issues with Quality and Engineering team.
  • Investigate root causes of non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Supporting first-piece verification runs with accompanying documents.
  • Documenting non-conformities to the process and specifications
  • Initiating regular quality line-audits to ensure all documentation, consumables, and tooling are within check.
  • Advocating proper ESD, PPE, and FOD prevention, calibration, and ISO compliance verifications.
  • Operating appropriate inspection equipment

Required Qualifications:
  • High-School Diploma or equivalent
  • Typically requires 3+ years of experience in quality assurance of electro -mechanical (circuit card assembly) , bare PCB, mechanical Enclosures inspection in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting incoming, in-process and final inspections including customer source inspections.
  • Physically able to spend up to 8 hours a day using a microscope.
  • Experience with IPC Industry Standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • J-STD-001 Class 3 and/or IPC 610 certified.
  • Experience with MMIC technology (amplifiers, attenuators, filters, switches, etc).
  • Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment.
  • Ability to communicate openly and effectively to provide real-time feedback.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Customer-Focused, "Zero-Defect" Mindset.
  • Documentation abilities.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Industry-Relevant Quality Inspection or Control experience.
  • Willingness to cross train in multiple Quality areas.
