If you're excited about seeing tangible results from your work, and you thrive in a dynamic environment where growth is constant, joining Kaidi could be the journey of a lifetime!Key ResponsibilitiesOversee quality assurance activities across steel fabrication, assembly and powder coat operationsConduct first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product checksInterpret and apply GD&T principles on fabricated parts and engineering drawingsLead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for non-conformancesDevelop and update quality documentation, including inspection plans, work instructions, and control plansMonitor key quality metrics and participate in continuous improvement projectsCollaborate with manufacturing engineers to improve processes and reduce scrap/reworkFinalize the systems and processes (QMS) to achieve and sustain ISO 9001:2015Monitor and support department activities for ISO 9001:2015, including internal and external audits Work closely with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns and drive resolutionGenerate specifications, validation plans, and acceptance criteria for new products, materials, and processesWork closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiativesOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering-or equivalent experience3+ years of quality engineering experience in a metal fabrication or similar environmentProficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings with GD&TStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with quality tools and systems (FMEA, SPC, 8D, CAPA, etc.)Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality system auditsSolid communication and teamwork skills with an eye for detailTeam player with demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at various organizational levels internally and externallyComfortable with change and ambiguity, with the ability to quickly propose solutions given limited guidanceSelf-directed individual with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrentlyBilingual Chinese (Mandarin)/English speaker is a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience in steel furniture manufacturing is a plusHighly collaborative person with a strong, team-oriented mindsetWhy You'll Love Working HereOpportunity to make a real impact on the success of the operationBe part of a team that values innovation, efficiency, and craftsmanshipOpportunities for growth, learning, and leadership in a dynamic manufacturing environmentCompetitive pay and benefits including medical/dental/visionWorking EnvironmentOn-site role in a production facility - daily presence on the shop floor requiredAbility to access and navigate all areas of the facilities and perform the above-mentioned essential dutiesOccasional travel may be required for trainingPay$70,000 - $90,000 per yearBenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid holidaysPaid vacation and sick time IRA with matching $Ready to join a company that puts people and safety first?
