Job Type: Contract
Location: Hybrid / Onsite as required

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Tester with a strong mix of manual and automation testing experience to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across the full software testing lifecycle and collaborating closely with offshore QA/development teams.

Responsibilities
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

  • Develop and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.

  • Identify, document, track, and validate defects using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

  • Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and defect triage.

  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to resolve quality issues.

  • Coordinate daily testing activities with offshore QA and development teams.

  • Review offshore test results, provide guidance, and ensure testing deliverables meet project standards.

  • Support regression testing during application releases and production deployments.

  • Contribute to improving test automation coverage and overall QA processes.

  • Communicate testing status, risks, defects, and project issues to stakeholders.

Required Skills
  • 14+ years of strong hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.

  • Experience with test case design, execution, defect management, and regression testing.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one automation framework such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Strong SQL/database testing skills are preferred.

  • Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar is a plus.

  • Experience working with and coordinating offshore QA teams.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on QA professional who can independently perform manual testing while also contributing to automation efforts, and who has experience coordinating effectively with offshore teams in a distributed delivery environment.
