Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Supervisor to lead and support our Case Management team while ensuring the efficient progression of personal injury cases from intake through settlement. This role requires a hands-on leader with experience in personal injury case management, medical records, and insurance claims.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pre-litigation processes, experience supervising staff, ordering and reviewing medical records and billing, communicating with insurance companies and medical providers, and ensuring exceptional client service throughout the life of each case.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Personal Injury Case Managers.
  • Monitor caseloads, productivity, and performance to ensure cases progress efficiently.
  • Train and onboard new Case Managers on firm procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of case files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Order, track, and obtain medical records and billing from healthcare providers.
  • Follow up with hospitals, physicians, imaging centers, and other providers regarding outstanding record requests.
  • Review medical records, billing, and supporting documentation for completeness.
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding claim status, medical documentation, liability, and settlement negotiations.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, medical providers, and insurance companies throughout the life of each case.
  • Resolve escalated client concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure all case activity is accurately documented within the firm's case management software.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and team efficiency.


Requirements
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of personal injury case management experience required.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
  • Experience ordering medical records and medical billing.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance claims and the personal injury pre-litigation process.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with case management software preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
