About the role

The Quality Assurance Associate performs activities associated with quality control of meals. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our meals in accordance with our HACCP and FDA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor food standards to appropriate guidelines.
  • Enforce kitchen safety and hygiene protocols, including proper use of masks, gloves, hairnets, hand-washing, equipment cleaning, and station sanitization.
  • Verify that all food items placed in walk-in coolers are appropriately labeled and organized.
  • Monitor and ensure all refrigerators and freezers maintain an appropriate temperature.

Qualifications 

  • Ability to work in a cold environment (prep area maintained at 35F).
  • Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly without assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 200 lbs.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work efficiently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
  • Bilingual with English and Spanish a plus
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Intermediate computer skills required; excel, google suit
