Position Responsibilities:
Own and ensure the quality, reliability, scalability, testing methodology and performance of highly complex software systems and services. Architect and execute comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks for large-scale distributed software systems. Work with automation tools, programming or scripting languages, RESTful APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and cloud-based distributed architectures. Work with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, and defect tracking tools. Practice strong analytical and debugging skills, and collaborate effectively in agile, cross-functional environments. Work with performance, load, white-box, black-box and smoke testing and perform API, integration and regression testing. Establish quality goals and metrics, monitors key performance indicators, and drives data-driven improvements across product teams. Provide regular detailed status report on projects including test cases planned/executed, defects identified and resolved. Mentor other QA engineers and drive quality initiatives across multiple teams. Advise and consult closely with software development engineers, product managers, technical program managers and software development manager.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and seven years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, as a Programmer/Analyst, Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Test Developer, or a related occupation. Must have seven years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) designing and developing extensible test automation, scripts, tests, and automation for large-scale software systems/architecture for backend using Java or Shell Scripts in a Windows, UNIX, or Linux environment; (2) developing and managing UI test automations using tools like selenium, cypress, playwright, or equivalent tool; (3) developing and maintaining performance and load testing; (4) documenting and coordinating deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems; (5) knowledge of cloud-based distributed architectures and RESTful APIs, SQL, or NoSQL databases; (6) proficiency in one or more scripting languages including shell, bash, perl, python, javascript, ruby, or equivalent scripting language; (7) knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, source control systems like Git, and defect tracking tools such as Jira or TestRail; (8) knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as Lambda, S3, DocumentDB or DynamoDB; (9) building instrumentation and defining guidelines to measure quality; (10) debugging to identify and resolve technical issues; (11) collaborating in agile, cross-functional team environments; and (12) driving quality initiatives across multiple teams with leadership experience mentoring QA engineers.
