Job description

Title: Software Tester
Location: Glen Allen, VA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months Extendable

Ideal Candidate Profile:  Seeking a detail-oriented Software Teste r who  will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of  software products. Candidate  will identify, document, and track defects, collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues, and contribute to improving testing processes and standards. Experience with manual and/or automated testing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings clearly are essential for success in this position.
 
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Design and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements
Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain and update test documentation and coverage reports
Support regression testing efforts and contribute to automation initiatives
 
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in manual and/or automated software testing
Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., Xray, Jira)
Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
