QA Functional Tester
Fremont, CA (Onsite 3days/week)
Full-Time/FTE

  3. Functional Testers with solid Integration Testing experience who are willing to learn and work on Oracle Finance or Oracle SCM testing.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Functional QA Engineer with strong experience in functional testing, test automation, and Agile delivery. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, think critically, identify defects proactively, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
The candidate must have hands-on experience with Selenium (or equivalent automation tools), a good understanding of AI concepts, and a strong willingness to learn new tools and technologies. Experience in testing AI-powered applications is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand business requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Identify, document, track, and validate defects through closure.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
  • Execute exploratory testing and identify risks that may not be covered by standard test cases.
  • Contribute to test automation activities using Selenium or equivalent automation tools.
  • Support continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and testing practices.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, including AI-driven testing approaches.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in Functional Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • Strong experience in web and application testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium or equivalent test automation tools (Mandatory).
  • Good understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and defect lifecycle.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • AI awareness and understanding of AI-powered applications and tools (Mandatory).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and ways of working (Mandatory).

  • Experience testing AI-enabled or GenAI applications.
  • Exposure to Agentic AI testing concepts and approaches.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
