Job description

Inpatient Pharmacy Technician

This role supports distribution functions within the inpatient pharmacy including:

  • Order verification (Epic)
  • Final product verification check
  • Answering clinical questions/drug information
  • Overseeing pharmacy technician functions
  • Code Blue/emergency response

Additionally, our inpatient pharmacy supports:

  • Specialty/Oncology infusion center
  • After-hours outpatient dispensing (limited formulary)

Desired experience:

  • Direct inpatient pharmacy experience
  • Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis
  • Understanding of USP 797/800
