Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications accurately using the Pyxis medication management system
  • Document patient care and clinical information using the MedHost documentation system
  • Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:5 while delivering safe, quality care
Required Qualifications
  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand prior to submission
  • Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
  • Demonstrated telemetry skills required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred
  • Familiarity with Pyxis medication systems and MedHost documentation
