Job description

This opening is for an experienced pharmacist to support a busy 200+ bed community hospital. The role offers a dynamic environment where your expertise in medication management and patient care will directly impact hospital operations and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders accurately and promptly
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
  • Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize pharmacotherapy
  • Conduct pharmacokinetic assessments and provide expert guidance
  • Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems effectively in daily tasks
Qualifications:
  • Licensed pharmacist in good standing
  • Experience working in hospital pharmacy settings preferred
  • Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is essential
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clinical staff
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Schedule/Hours:
  • 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours in length
